PRESS RELEASE – JULY 2013: 

Faith Community Church of the Nazarene will celebrate 100 years in the community on their campus located at 16800 Imperial Highway, east of Rose Drive in Yorba Linda. “On Saturday, July 20, we will celebrate our history and on Sunday, July 21 we will have a ‘Service of Anticipation’ as we cast a vision for the next 100 years!” said Pastor Jim Yelvington.

For 74 years, the Brea Church of the Nazarene ministered to the people of Brea at its Birch Street location from 1913 to 1987. Then, on November 15, 1987, they dedicated their new Yorba Linda facility and renamed the church, “Faith Community,” where they have been now for 26 years. Faith Community has continued to serve North Orange County through their ministries, including a school, Discovery Depot Childcare Center. 

Faith Community is a Bible centered, evangelistic church ministering to the needs of the total family.
